…….Arne Fogel and singer-actor JENNIFER ECKES are co-hosting a series of shows at HONEY, the beautiful new downstairs lounge in the old “Jitters” space, below the “GINGER HOP” restaurant in N.E. Minneapolis. Part jazz, part cabaret, these shows feature special appearances by Twin Cities singers from both fields, with piano accompaniment. The “SECOND SUNDAY” series continues on the second sunday of March, and April. More details on the “calendar” page of this website……

A brand-new public radio series for Arne Fogel is now in development, originating at JAZZ 88, KBEM-FM 88.5 (working title: MINNESOTA VOICES: “CERTAIN STANDARDS”), which will feature Arne’s stories from “The Great American Songbook” and some of the Twin Cities’ top jazz vocalists, including DEBBIE DUNCAN, CONNIE EVINGSON, NANCY HARMS and MAUD HIXSON. And look for a proposed Arne Fogel concert tour through various states during the ‘10 - ‘11 season, booked by ALLIED CONCERT SERVICES. More details to come……..
……Arne Fogel has been booked for a series of special concerts in Chicago over the May 7th - 9th weekend, and has just accepted another date for a special concert presentation at HOPKINS CENTER FOR THE ARTS for October 23rd of this year. More information about these engagements TBA……

……NANCY HARMS‘ new CD “IN THE INDIGO” was voted one of the TOP TEN CD releases of 2009 by the Minneapolis-St. Paul STAR-TRIBUNE’s annual critic’s poll. Five of the CD’s songs have been added to New York-based PENTHOUSE RADIO’s playlist, including the title song, co-composed by Nancy, Arne Fogel, and producer ROBERT BELL…. DAILY PLANET’S DWIGHT HOBBES describes this new song “In The Indigo” as “…..a breezy, upbeat affair that practically grins at you with whimsical beauty…..” Arne Fogel is credited “Vocal direction/Creative consultant” on the album…….
……Also out now on CD: “MANGIA! ITALIAN DINNER NIGHT” is available as part of the LIFESCAPES CD collection, available at all TARGET stores. Arne Fogel performs Italian favorites as well as original songs by CHAN POLING. Also featured on the disc are DAN NEWTON (accordion), DEAN MAGRAW (guitar), and PETER OSTROUSHKO (mandolin).
